I have always felt like Tom is a significant key (?) or factor (?) in Daph’s ability to see shadows. I made this conclusion from the fact that sometimes, especially when it comes to flashback, Tom glitches too. It could be an artistic choice, but I like to think it will make a narrative sense. Because Tom has a halo which shadows can’t interpret at all. I think it’s interesting
