  19. I love how you draw the shadows so much, it looks so cool! and the story so far is really interesting, well developed

  20. I am so shocked by how quickly Daph composed himself. He was already thinking about connections to make and actions to do. On the other hand, I saw Tom’s outburst (if it can be called that) from a mile away. Tom is shaken up by the murder but most importantly, he’s concerned for Daph. I can relate because Daph, if you could take up your self preservation instincts from a negative two to at least a 3, I will be much more relieved. Not only Daph went into this situation with no backups, he went into it ALONE. Like when Daph decided to pursue this investigation without Tom, all those chapters ago, I was like “please don’t please don’t please don’t” but, sigh, who listens.
The shadow of the reporter had so many details, I loved it. Like how most of the many eyes were trained on Tom, but some of them were looking at Daph too, because he’s a reporter and very aware of his surroundings. Also I love that Daph was protective enough to go “wait a second 🤨🧐” and looked at the reporter’s shadow.

And I have to applaud Tom because of how quickly my guy started acting when he saw that it was a news channel. He didn’t avoid or redirect, he just fell into the most believable character. Both Daph and Tom are protecting each other.
