I feel so silly
maybe i’m crazy but them dropping the glasses has GOT to be some sort of foreshadowing- it just seems like such a strangely strong tone with the yelling names and expressions over dropping some glasses. out of all the ways to convey such a trivial interaction, why not something simpler or memey-er? something easier on the hands? why convey such worry in those panels? and daphs glass shattering but toms only being cracked seems /perfect/ for symbolism
This feels like it could be tied to how much they were infected by the whatever-it-is-that-gave-them-powers (I mean, look at Daph he got extra shadow hands and stuff), but maybe it’s just effects for effects sakes? Who knows? 👀
