as an aside, i really love the shot of daph barging into the classroom and all the shadows suddenly appearing, it really shows how overwhelming and sudden his powers can be
There’s so much I love about this comic! The way you use lighting and value instead of color, Daph’s power and the mystery surrounding it, and the relationship between him and Tom to name a few. Especially in this part. Every interaction they have is not only entertaining but full of history and meaning. Thank you for sharing your amazing story with us!

Kinda wonder if doctors would be able to help Daph tho since that seems to be shadow related…

Daph’s been pushing himself so hard QQ pls get rest. and if i remember correctly he and tom still haven’t properly talked through their conflict? wonder if they’ll get to it
also it’s a really nice detail that daph focuses on tom’s microecpression to compensate for the lack of Sight!

I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but it’s cool how Tom’s apparently “immunity” to the shadows (or at least Daph’s vision of them) shows up as a sort of empty shadow-less halo around Tom’s head – even to the point of blocking out Daph’s ear-hands in one frame. It also somewhat reminds me of the way halos were depicted in older religious artworks

So sorry you had appendicitis, my younger sister had it and she had surgery just before it burst and she still says it was the worst pain she ever felt before they took it out. So grateful you are okay! Also, real on catching up on school work, I’m failing two classes, one of which is art because I keep forgetting to turn things in TwT This comic always makes me feel better, thank you so much for everything!
