Daph shouldn’t abuse his shadows like that; they can hurt him. He grabbed them, after all. If he can touch them, they can touch back. I’m liking the slow progression to shadows being an actual threat.
Also you’re gonna wanna kill the fungus growing in your new place or find someplace mold free cuz it’ll reek havoc on your body and mind if you don’t. (If mushrooms can grow, so too does mold.)
Kinda disconnected but if you ever needed more inspiration for textures Lisa Matthias is a good artist to check out she makes prints and such. She has does lots of stuff related to plant life and ecology, and specifically her “peatland mosses” collection could make for excellent inspiration for some more plant like shadows!
What I love about this comic book is it shows the downside to having “Powers”. Though Daph can hear people’s inner secrets and thoughts, he still gets stressed out because he doesn’t know everything. I understand the feeling of messing up like Daph did T^T Not exactly like that but all the ADD peeps will agree we have rejection sensitivity and being judges is a no-no. I have been wondering, does Daph or Tom have any mental illnesses? Aside from PTSD, of course. P.S. Tom is so offended. Here, HAPPY BELATED BIRDLEDAY TOM!!!
